This type of squid is a favourite of many anglers. The main reason behind this is the fact that the baby squid (each approximately 2” long) can be fished whole with no fuss. It’s the right size for using as a tip off bait and if larger baits are required you can put more on the hook. The advantage to fishing this bait whole is that all the juices will remain inside and will slowly seep out when in the water creating a better scent trail. The other reason for using this bait whole is that the presentation is improved which will also help with attracting fish.
