“I’ve had some success over the last couple of years on your very good blueys and snake launce. Last week I caught a new pb pike of 27lb 10oz from a Lincolnshire stillwater. I’ve attached the pic then maybe will realise blueys aren’t just for sea fishing! It took a large bluey with the head just nipped off.”

Steve Black is doing a fishing marathon with Bill (Clive) and these pictures were taken at a local mark at a pre marathon session. They landed these beauties on a pack of launce supplied by Squids In Sea Baits. The rays weighed in at 8lb 6oz, 6lb 3oz and Bill’s at 7lb.

Caught by Dave Rogers - “I caught the fish on your bluey at Straumen near Trondheim, we were staying at Skarnsundet Fjordcenter in Vangshylla, Inderoy. The fish weighed on our scales was 49lb 7 ounces, the scales have been sent away for calibration and then hopefully we will have a new European record.”

Gary Laverick fished Aldbrough on 10th September to the top of the tide but never managed anything, moved to Dimlington to fish the tide down and we managed a Starry Smoothhound each. Mine was caught on the frozen peeler and squid and Phil caught his on a Mackerel fillet.
